It is currently predominantly used by inland barges, however plans are in motion to radically change the area in the next few years by building a new residential area on seven artificial islands.Getting Around:The Apartment is near the city centre and Jordaan. Nearby you can take the ferry across river ´t IJ to discover the north of Amsterdam or take a walk through the Spaarndammerstraat to Westerpark or Jordaan.At the busstation (5-minutes walk) you can take bus 22 & 48 to Central Station.Other Things to Note:Freshly made up beds and crispy towels will be waiting for you upon arrival.If you wish to check-in to the apartment between 20:00/8PM and 08:00/8AM, this is possible.
